Overview of manual welding gate valve
Manually welded gate valves are available in three cover designs. The first is a bolted valve cover. For valves designed according to this design, the valve body and the valve cover are connected with bolts and nuts, and the wound gasket (made of 316 flexible graphite) is sealed. Metal ring connections can also be used when customers have special requirements. The second design form is the welded valve cover. For valves with this design form, the valve body and the valve cover are threaded and fully welded and sealed. Full penetration welding connections can also be used when customers have special requirements. The third type is the pressure self-tightening valve cover. For valves designed according to this design, the valve body and the valve cover are threaded, and the internal pressure self-tightening ring seals.
