The advantages of the stop valve are simple manufacturing, low price, and easy maintenance of the sealing surface. The disadvantages are that the installation length is large, the resistance to medium flow is large, and the sealing performance is poor.
The connection between the stop valve and the pipeline can be a threaded connection or a flange connection.
